You’re invited! It’s Frida Kahlo’s 101st birthday and the party is at the museum with family fun all day!
Join us as the museum kicks off this summer’s exhibition Frida Kahlo: Through the Lens of Nickolas Muray, an exhibition comprised of approximately 50 iconic photographs of Kahlo taken by celebrity photographer Nickolas Muray, her friend, lover and confidant. Bilingual gallery talks scheduled throughout the day.
Make your own self-portrait, Frida-style! Recreate a scene from Nickolas Muray’s photographic studio. Listen to live music and enjoy birthday cake with Frida. Click here to view exhibition.
